Roasted Turnip Roots

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-large Baker Farms Rootables™ Turnip Roots, peeled (optional), ends cut off then cut in 8 wedges

  • 1-2 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped

  • 1 tbsp lemon honey (or any honey

  • with 1 tsp fresh lemon juice)

  • ½ tsp lemon zest (optional)

  • Salt & pepper

Preparation

Directions:

In a microwave proof bowl, combine honey and olive oil. Microwave for 20 seconds. Add lemon zest and Turnip Roots to warm honey mixture, tossing to coat.

Season with salt and pepper, tossing again to coat.

Spread on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until fork tender.
