At Baker Farms, we bring our produce “Fresh to Your Table.”

Our Mission is Simple: Baker Farms is your first choice for safe, fresh, high-quality leafy greens and other vegetables - from our field to your table. The Baker Farms team embraces the latest technology to optimize high-quality production, ensure food safety, and support long-term sustainability.

Rooted in generations of farming, our values drive everything we do to produce leafy greens and other vegetables packed with quality and flavor, honoring our family’s legacy, conducting business with integrity, and continuously incorporating industry-leading technology to better serve our customers.

Additionally, we are committed to safety and stewardship - caring for our people, our land, and our community, taking care of those and what takes care of us.

Strong Foundation

Terry Baker, founder of Baker Farms, learned the value of hard work early in life. Baker Farms began as a one-man operation in 1970, with Terry occasionally hiring his younger sisters and friends to assist in the planting and harvesting of his few acres of crops.

Despite the challenges of starting a farm, Terry’s determination to succeed never wavered. Over time, he experimented with new crops and planting methods, gradually expanding his workforce. As Terry’s children grew, they also began helping on the farm. In 1989, Terry’s son Joe officially entered into a partnership with his father.
