Grandaddy's Greens

Serves:

3-5 Servings

Ingredients


  1. 1 lb bag of Baker Farms Greens (Mustard, Collards or Turnips)

  2. 2 tablespoons of Bacon Grease

  3. Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Fill a pot with water about 3-4 inches deep. Heat water nearly to a boil. Drop in handfuls of greens, allowing them to wilt down as you stir.

  2. Drop in 2 tablespoons of bacon grease and season with salt & pepper to taste. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes to an hour.

  3. Serve warm with cornbread.
